Fish Facts: Seabream, also known as Orata or Dorada, is a commercially important species of fish from the Mediterranean. Commonly recognized by their silver, laterally compressed bodies and flat stubby face, this low oil whitefish is an excellent source of vitamin A, calcium, and iron.
Taste/Cooking: The flavour of Sea Bream is often compared to that of Sea Bass. Many suggest that Sea Bream tastes slightly sweeter than Sea Bass as the size increases. The fish’s texture is lean and breaks off in small flakes. Preferred cooking methods include, baking, grilling, steaming, or broiling. Sea Bream would pair well with our house fresh herb mix, garlic & dill, Cajun, as well as others.
Sustainability: Recommended product of ASC.
