Menta Iko - Spiced Cod Roe
Menta Iko also known as Mentaiko is a delicacy made using cod roe and the membrane sac. The roe is salted and marinated to enhance the already delectable flavour. Menta Iko can be prepared in the sac or with the membrane removed. It is often enjoyed raw but it can be cooked using your preferred cooking method.
