A common dish found in Dim Sum restaurants across the world, Har Gow or Shrimp Dumplings, is a mainstay in Cantonese cuisine. Its exterior turns a translucent white when steamed and gives off a chewy texture. Inside the dumpling is filled with shrimps which boasts succulent flavour and crunchy texture. When cooking, use a steamer and bring water to a boil. Place parchment on bottom of steamer to avoid sticking and steam for 6 min. Space dumplings roughly an inch apart to account for expansion during steaming.
