Taste/Cooking: Cold smoked black cod (often called sablefish) is a premium seafood delicacy known for its exceptionally rich, buttery texture and mild, smoky flavor. Cured in salt with a lightly use of mixed herbs and paprika and gently smoked at low temperatures without cooking. It is typically enjoyed thinly sliced like lox on bagels, in charcuterie boards, or tossed into scrambled eggs.
